Premier Surgeons

Premier Surgeons is a group of 7 senior consultants who have over 250 years of clinical experience between them.

The 7 consultants in the Group cover the following specialties:

Robert Ewing - Urology
Hugh Griffith - Gynaecology
Geoffrey Hutchinson - General surgery
Michael McNicholas - Orthopaedic and knee surgery
Clive Peckar - Eye surgery
Krishna Reddy - ENT
Christopher Wells - Management of pain

The Premier Surgeons Group was set up originally as an educational forum for General Practitioners taking the form of lectures and seminars. These have been much appreciated by the General Practitioners and we now wish to extend this educational role to our patients in the form of individual websites dedicated to our own specialties. We believe the websites will be a useful supplement to the consultation. This will improve key links between our patients and our GP colleagues to provide professional care-pathways tailored to each individual.

Currently we are in the process of developing our websites which will provide a vehicle for the exchange of information and updates in a range of clinical specialties. The sites will also provide news articles as well as patient information leaflets.

Premier Surgeons will always strive to improve communication and streamline the management of their patients wherever possible. Courtesy and respect for each patient is paramount and confidentiality is assured.
